!!!

haha wow. The amazing thing is that I've seen a shit ton of these flicks... surprised you don't have Seven or Fight Club...

You should check out some foreign flicks. Amores Perros is one of the best Spanish films I've ever seen, but it's a pretty long epic movie. It follows three characters, Requiem for a Dream style, but better- because the characters lives do not revolve around drugs (well, not all of them).

It's been a while since I've seen that. I used to rent foreign films all the time from Video Station (the one by my house) and it's where I was fortunate enough to rent/watch Fallen Angels (my favorite movie of all time), Man Bites Dog, Irreversable, Pi (not foreign, but you would dig it!), and this one Japanese psychological-drama-horror flick called Audition. It was much more intelligent horror, not like the slash-em-up "horror" that is so dominant in American film. Peter Jackson's "Dead Alive" comes to mind when I think of that, for some reason.

I didn't return a film to Video Station... Gus Van Sant's Elephant. It was a kickass movie. It's that film about a school shooting that you may have heard about - it was released only in a few of the more liberal theatres throughout the Nation. Interestingly enough, it was a slow paced, realistic look at a couple of kids who order guns and shoot up their school. The cinematography is wonderful though...

Looking under "W"... I see no WAKING LIFE!!!!
>_<
WOMAN!
It is an incredible movie that can shape ideologies! Yes, it's that good!
And it has neat animation with segments that accentuation and often play on dialogue. There should be a little disclaimer though, because the film is nothing but a bunch of *seemingly unrelated* conversations that actually are related by a protagonist in the end!!!

Of course, the film is ambiguis enough to leave that up to the viewer; much like Lost in Translation, Babel, and Final Fantasy VII Advent Children.

*_* I need a TV... then we can watch movies and I'll make popcorn and light incense and we can SMOKE CIGARETTES!
haha

I gotta go crash; peace! see ya in three days (wednesday)
